About symbal somatic

What is Symbal Somatic?

At Symbal Somatic, we offer gentle, trauma-informed practices designed to support stroke and heart attack survivors — and anyone navigating the emotional, energetic, and spiritual aftershock of major life events. We hope to assist you in shifting from fear into trust, and from survival into wholeness.

We believe that creating a feeling of inner calm allows us to embody outer strength.

Symbal was born from a breath — the kind you take when everything changes.

For founder Jenny, that moment came after surviving a massive stroke. As a longtime yoga teacher, holistic healer, and spiritual seeker, she had spent years helping others reconnect with their bodies, quiet their minds, and return to their truth. But this time, the healing journey became her own.

Recovery wasn’t just physical. It was emotional. Spiritual. A full-body initiation into surrender, resilience, and trust. It was in that space — raw and real — that Symbal began to take shape.

Symbal is a sanctuary for survivors of stroke, heart attack, and medical trauma. It’s where the nervous system softens, the spirit reawakens, and the body is lovingly invited back into wholeness.

Drawing from trauma-informed practices, breathwork, meditation, gentle movement, and neuroscience-based techniques inspired by the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza, Symbal helps people rewire their inner world — one breath, one thought, one emotion at a time.

This is not about fixing what’s broken.

This is about remembering who you are beneath the fear, the diagnosis, and the pain.

This is healing from the inside out.

Whether you’re just beginning or walking the long road of recovery, Symbal offers a new kind of support — rooted in safety, spirit, and soul.

You don’t have to walk this path alone.

You just have to take the next step inward.

Why did I start Symbal Somatic?

Two years ago, I survived a massive ischemic stroke in my right MCA.

Everything in my life changed in an instant — my body, my mind, my sense of identity, and my connection to the world around me.

But in that space of uncertainty and fear… something else began to open.

A deeper knowing. A return to breath.

A quiet voice inside saying: you’ve got this — you already have all of the tools you need to heal from this experience. I chose to be a stroke survivor, not a stroke victim.

As a longtime yoga instructor, and holistic practitioner, I had spent years guiding others through emotional healing, mind-body integration, and spiritual awakening. I am certified in Acutonics II, a Reiki Master, and I am certified to teach traditional yoga, Kundalini Yoga and Buti Yoga. I’d also studied everything from traditional shamanism (trained to practice and teach) to modern neuroscience. I had written a book about unbecoming all of the things that are not authentic to you so you might return to your spirit. I knew the power of the breath, the body, and the unseen.

But during my own recovery, I was struck by what was missing within the survivor community. Especially considering the overwhelming number of individuals who struggle with immense stress, anxiety, and even PTSD, due to the great fear of experiencing another event.

There was very little trauma-informed, heart-centered support for survivors — especially when it came to the nervous system, emotional healing, and the spiritual process of rebuilding your life after crisis.

After doing great amounts of research in ways I might give back to this community that I have such a heart for, I realized that I had unknowingly been training and gaining knowledge since 2012 to create this loving offering to others in need.

Symbal Somatic was born from that space — a space between survival and rebirth.

It’s a home for those who’ve experienced stroke, heart attack, or life-altering medical trauma. It’s a place to reconnect with the body, repair the nervous system, and remember the spirit. A place where your healing is honored, and your story is safe.

This work is deeply personal to me.

Because I’ve walked this path — and I know how lonely, confusing, and sacred it can be.

And I know how powerful it is to be truly seen, not as broken… but as someone new.

Symbal Somatic exists because healing is not just about rehab and recovery — it’s about returning to yourself.

It’s about feeling safe again. Feeling strong again. Feeling whole again.

Not just in body… but in heart, breath, and soul.

So, thank you for joining me in this safe space. I am humbled to assist you all with the knowledge and understandings that I feel not only kept my massive stroke from having serious, on term effects, but allowed me to heal to a level where I feel even better than I ever have before. I hope to give you the courage to also take charge of your own healing journey on every level, allowing you to be the very best version of yourselves possible.

With love and gratitude,

Jenny

We use simple, powerful breathing techniques rooted in heart-brain coherence and energy alignment.

This practice is for everyone. Healing can literally begin with the breath.

-Meditation for Recovery & Inner Repair.

Our guided meditations are designed for post-trauma recovery — helping you quiet the mind, soften the body, and reconnect with your center.

Whether you’re navigating fear, fatigue, or emotional overwhelm, you’ll find space to rest, remember, and realign.

-Nervous System Regulation Tools.

We offer gentle somatic tools and practices to help restore balance in the autonomic nervous system. These are ideal for:

•Post-stroke and post-cardiac trauma

•Chronic stress, anxiety, or dissociation

•Emotional overwhelm and healing fatigue

These practices aren’t about “doing more.” They’re about creating enough safety for your body to heal.

You’re not just healing a body — you’re rebuilding a life.

Our practices are rooted in presence, compassion, and spiritual wholeness. We honor your journey not as something to fix… but as something sacred.
